The article describes a vessel unique to both Filippovka 1 necropolis and burial complexes dated 300s BC and found in the Southern Fore-Urals in general. The item in question is an eight-shaped bowl ornamented on both sides with ungulate protomes facing one another. The ungulates are a goat and a ram. The vessel is made of willow wood fringed with golden and silver leaves bound by miniature metal nails. The item is identified as an element of the sacrificial complex for the central grave of kurgan 4. This is the second largest kurgan in the cemetery. The sacrificial complex is found in the north part of the burial chamber between the walls of coffins 1 and 4. Along with the bowl in question, the complex also includes a zebu-shaped bronze lamp and a wicker basket containing several knives with golden elements and a bone zoomorphic spoon. This set features the Achaemenid style with its silver handle of one knife and indented diamonds on the scabbard golden plate or on the handle of another knife. At the same time, the sacrificial set shows elements typical for Filippovka necropolis style. Such traits are found in the distinctive ornaments of the whip handle, the bone spoon pommel images and the scabbard zoomorphic fragment. The scholarly discource is enhanced with the data obtained during the vessel restoration. The study detailed the vessel's morphological peculiarities, analyses the animalistic images in the context oа the early nomadic animalistic style. The paper also reviews the Achaemenid decorative traditions. This research states that the vessel's production technology and iconology are related to the deer wooden figurines discovered in hide 1 of kurgan 1, Filippovka 1 cemetery. It is claimed that the deer figurines were carved in the same manner as the base of the future bowl. Then metal leaves were attached to it. Later the leaves were stricken to form the decorative elements on the carved wood relief. The bowl's wood type also matches the wood type for one of the deer figurines set.
