Summary:

Cultic place of Vera Island 9 is situated on the south-east cape of the island. In the excavated central part of the place two menhirs are situated, with an altar stone between them. Excavation of the place revealed ceramic materials of the period of Early Eneolithic, combed ware and that of Lipchinka culture. It is interesting that these materials are not mixed. Each type is situated near a particular menhir. This, as well as some other features of the place allowed us to assume that marriages between groups of different cultures and origins took place here.
